Never Ready

I am never ready for MORNING!!! I suppose there's truth to 'early to bed, early to rise, make s a woman healthy, wealthy and wise'.  But I just try to squeeze every moment of time and every ounce of energy outta each day.  I find myself up late at night, preparing for tomorrow and tying up the 'today' things.  The greatest thing about finally going to bed is I NEVER have a moment of sleeplessness. One of the funniest things my exhusband used to get so mad over, was the fact that he'd lay there for hours 'counting sheep' and I would be asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow!  (a subject for another day)
Anyways, I'm up, draggin' my rear out to meet the day, and thinking it'll be noonish before my head is 'up' enough to function at basic minimal capacity. But once that kicks in,   look out world!
